Therapeutic Riding
Morning Dove’s therapeutic riding lesson program is modeled after the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH) guidelines for Premier accredited member centers.
Lessons are designed to address riding goals as the priority, but, factor in the individual’s educational, physical, social, and recreational goals as well. Participants with a wide array of disabilities are active in this program. To achieve lesson goals, instructors may incorporate various arena exercises and games, as well as riding on our trails.
Instructors will communicate progress, observations and suggestions to their riders and their family as appropriate. Our goal is always to make our lessons fun and progressive!
Partial scholarships are available to our current families with demonstrated need. Applications are available by calling our office at 317-733-9393.
