Therapeutic Riding
The effectiveness of Therapeutic Riding as an adjunct therapeutic intervention is supported by a growing body of research and evidence. Studies have shown significant improvements in physical function, emotional well-being, and social skills among participants.
Therapeutic Riding contributes to the cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with a variety of special needs. At Morning Dove, each rider is paired with a support team based on their needs and level of independence.
Many individuals facing challenges do not have access to traditional forms of therapy due to financial constraints or limited resources. Morning Dove strives to bridge this gap by providing affordable or subsidized services to all who need them.
Morning Dove is committed to creating a more inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Not only do we facilitate the safety and well-being of our participants, we carefully manage that of our therapy horses as well, including limiting the weight that they carry to a maximum of 220 lbs.
